Always measure wet ingredients in a liquid measuring cup; this will give you an accurate fluid oz measurement. cup is not “packed” which can cause too much product to be added to the recipe!
When using a spoon, melon baller or ice cream scoop for sticky recipes; spray with a little cooking spray and it will be a lot easier!
Need it twice; chop it once. When making a recipe or a meal that has multiple repeating items, for example onion or garlic, go ahead and cut it all at once to make things smoother for you later!
Season in layers; remember you can always add to a dish but not necessarily take away.
Keep items like aluminum foil, parchment paper, freezer bags and sandwich bags on hand as these will become some of your best friends in making clean up easier and storing or freezing leftovers!
