Low Fat Cream is a type of sour cream that is made by processing milk fats or cream. It contains emulsifying ingredients and has a solid fat content of not less than 50% at 5°C and not less than 40% at 15°C. It has a thick, white texture and a slightly tangy taste. Low Fat Cream is easily available in most dairy stores, food malls, and grocery stores.

When selecting low fat cream, check the fat percentage and look for brands such as Hood’s Low Fat Cream, Weight Watchers Low Fat Sour Cream, and Amul Fresh Cream. It is usually sold in laminated plastic tetra packs. Low Fat Cream has good overrun after whipping and is capable of making artificial flowers. It has good stability at room temperature and excellent flavor and melting properties in the mouth.
