Amla

Amla is a fibrous, round fruit with vertical stripes, typically found in India. It is greenish-yellow in color and has a sour taste. Due to its antibacterial properties, amla can help the body fight infections and boost immunity. It is also effective in treating upset stomachs, diarrhea, and dysentery.

Amla is a common ingredient in hair tonics, known to reduce hair loss, stimulate hair growth, and strengthen roots. Consuming amla powder mixed with honey and butter before meals is said to improve appetite, and drinking a mixture of one gram of amla powder and sugar in water or milk twice a day can relieve acidity.
